What's New in February 2019...

I have been invited to two schools over World Book Week 2019. Each school has approx 250 children who will be engaging with me. I have made each child a little 'Grumpy Gnome Business Card' which contains a small bag of mustard cress and growing instructions (thank you Dragon for the help). It took us hours to make 500 of them but I hope they will enjoy them as a little keepsake, and might even send me pictures of their finished cress.

I also designed a competition for the schools where each year group will win a copy of the book for the best judged entry.

I have added another section to the Grumpy Gnome's Garden home page for World Book Week 2019 where you can see details.

I am looking forward to planning a week's holiday on the Grand Union Canal on board the Jolly Jasmine in Maytime.

Another event I am looking forward to is the Chelsea Flower Show. Lady Tottingham and myself have afternoon tea booked there too. The cakes and pastries are in the shapes of flowers and other horticultural delights, it will be a shame to eat them.

I am also working on a new project to produce an audio book. I am going into the recording studio at the end of next month, so watch this space.

The sequel book, The Grumpy Gnome Goes on Holiday is nearly there. I think I have finished the text, just one more check. I have got a couple more illustrations to do and then off to press! I will also be producing an audio book for this one too.
